Pr Carlos Moreno est invité par l’International Book Fair Forum de Guadalajara à intervenir le lundi 16 novembre à 12h heure locale.
Lors du Forum annuel « From Wall to Wall » il participera à une table-ronde avec d’autres experts, et présentera également son dernier ouvrage « Droit de cité. De la ville-monde à la ville du Quart d’heure », publié le 4 novembre 2020 (Editions de l’Observatoire).
Table-ronde « Nouvelles communautés », thèmes à l’honneur : l’équilibre entre confinement et travail à distance, la nécessité de repenser notre modèle économique et le renouveau de la solidarité.
Présentation de l’événement et des intervenants – Edition 2020 :
From Wall to Wall is a yearly forum presented by Guadalajara’s International Book Fair as an avenue for debating the main questions arising from the global historic moment we live in from a vantage point that goes beyond scholarly disciplines.
Organized in a partnership between the University of Guadalajara and another of Mexico’s must prestigious higher learning institutions –the Technological Institute of Monterrey, it will devote its 2020 edition to the new viral (dis)order in view of the pandemic and the resulting economic, social and cultural crisis.
Exceptional thinkers as economist and public intellectual will participate, including :
- FEDERICO DEMARIA (Spain), Nobel Peace Prize and former acting president of Egypt following the Arab Spring
- SERGIO BENVENUTO (Italy), editor and human rights activist
- IAN BURUMA (Netherlands / US), economist upholding the notion of degrowth
- ENRIQUE KRAUZE (Mexico), economist
- JACQUES ATTALI (France), social policy and community cohesion expert
- ROCCO RONCHI (Italy) and philosopher, among many others.
