Today, I took part in ‘Talkback’ by BBC Radio Ulster to debate about the challenges of implementing proximity-based urban strategies. I argued that the real question at hand is how can we improve residents’ quality of life, optimise buildings for ensuring mixed-use developments and offer people more qualitative public space to roam around, breath and access all essential services.
