The Mayor of La Plata, Julio Alak, and the Minister of Government of Buenos Aires, Carlos Bianco, have signed an agreement for a new Urban and Territorial Planning Code (COUT) to address urban challenges. The event, « La Plata, returning to its surroundings, » honored Carlos Moreno as a Distinguished Visitor and featured conferences, round tables, and workshops. The new code aims to revitalize the city by embracing green spaces and the « 15-minute city » model.
