During the 4th World Solar Energy Forum in Hermosillo, Carlos Moreno presented his “15-Minute City” concept, which promotes reorganizing urban areas so that essential services—like schools, healthcare, work, and recreation—are accessible within 15 minutes on foot or by bike. The goal is to reduce reliance on cars, cut CO₂ emissions (which largely stem from urban transport and industry), and show that sustainability is compatible with economic growth.
